I’ve worked as a primary school teacher and now as a university learning designer. But the most important learning I’ve done came when I began homeschooling my own child after they experienced burnout.

Supporting my child’s wellbeing while trying to meet homeschool requirements was overwhelming. Even with my background in education, I needed something that was already designed - something that would reduce the mental load, not add to it.

Like many families, I turned to boxed curriculum. And while it helped us meet registration requirements, it didn’t work for my neurodivergent child.

That experience is what led me to create nuro co.
